These pictures are only for April!
I didn't think I'd end up here, but I needed some beauty in my life. Something to look at and to feel something special inside again. When what I saw and what I did could not release the sadness I felt inside I knew I had to return to the only happiness and joy I've felt in 10 years.
It was a hot and humid day, with very little to see from Clingman's Dome. With the sun behind the clouds, the helicopter ride was the best way to see the mountains that weekend. The weather mirrored the way I was feeling, so it was only fitting that the day never cleared. I waited so long, but the sun never shined on those mountains. And still, I wait, for the sun to shine in my life again.
